At just 18 years old, Macklin Celebrini made waves as the number one overall pick by the San Jose Sharks® in the 2024 Upper Deck NHL Draft™ held on June 28. His college journey was nothing short of remarkable, culminating in his freshman year Hobey Baker Award win, a prestigious recognition naming him the top college player in the nation. The 2023-24 season further solidified his prowess, earning him accolades such as Hockey East Player of the Year, Hockey East Rookie of the Year, Hockey East Scoring Champion, and the Hockey East Three-Stars Award for his exceptional regular-season performance.
